OnePlus 8 Official Renders Exhibit the Entire Design in Exciting New Colors
The all-new OnePlus 8 series is expected to launch in April, which is right just there. You may have come across a few renders before, but these new ones present the OnePlus 8 in all its glory. You get to see it in 3 gorgeous colors from multiple angles.
So there is the Onyx Black and Glacial Green hues, that we have seen already. But the real attraction is the new variant called Interstellar Glow. Have a look at it –
Since a few other brands have had their prismatic renditions already (Galaxy Note 10‘s Aurora Glow, for instance), it was likely that OnePlus too had their own.
Here are a few more renders.
Now, let’s have a quick glance at the design elements and some spec components.
OnePlus 8 Specs and Features
OnePlus has clearly divorced from the notch display for all its 2020 phones. As you can see, there is a tiny punch-hole to the top-left edge of the screen. It is said to house a modest 16MP shooter. The company CEO has promised high-refresh-rate screens on all their phones. So, you could expect at least a 90Hz or even a 120Hz
panel on this one.

Above it, there’s a petite bezel that holds a speaker/earpiece grill. The display doesn’t seem to have a curve, unlike the back. Rest, everything looks familiar and OnePlusy. There’s that nifty alert slider, a vertical rear camera panel and a set of refreshed logos.
Speaking of cameras, the panel is oblong and set in the middle. So, that round camera bump on the OnePlus 7T(review) was apparently a one-time thingy. Hardware-wise, leaks suggest a 48MP primary sensor plus a 16MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Internally, the phone is probably helming a Snapdragon 865 with 5G support. OnePlus is among the very few brands that have been vocal about the 5G adoption. This will be roomed along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS flash storage. There will be a 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

OnePlus 8 is expected to launch on 15 April 2020 alongside a OnePlus 8 Pro. That one is rumored to sport 30W wireless charging, IP water resistance, and better camera performance. So, all that considered along with the cost of 5G and Snapdragon 865, this year’s OnePlus phones could be pricier.
The source referred to it as “OnePlus Z” and said the hardware matched the previous OnePlus 8 Lite render. https://t.co/zB5PN9nQjW

But then, there are rumors of a toned-down edition called either OnePlus Z or OnePlus 8 Lite. It is said to bag a MediaTek chipset, probably Dimensity 1000. But, it’s all rumors and speculations. So, you may take them with a pinch of salt.
